Socioeconomic technology studies

The research group for socio-economic technology studies (SoeTech) gathers interdisciplinary perspectives on how new technology enables new ways of working, new business models, new conditions for politics and new behaviors and how these are integrated into or end up in conflict with prevailing structures.

Current research areas:

  • Economic analysis of digital markets, cyber security and AI
  • People, machines and the work of the future
  • Social mobility, labor market dynamics and public welfare financing in a polarized world
  • Micromobility, gig economy and structural transformation in the city
